TrueSafe User Guide > Introduction

This guide tells you how to use TrueSafe, the backup product designed for users that don't want to hassle with backups. If you're new to TrueSafe, we suggest you start with the Getting Started chapter.

TrueSafe is designed to be active on your machine at all times, just like your anti-virus program. In fact, you'll note an icon in your tray indicating status at all times. Further, TrueSafe is designed to be as unobtrusive as possible- once you've set it up, it will perform backups in the background, without disturbing you or slowing your machine down.

TrueSafe Editions
TrueSafe comes in 3 flavors (aka Editions):

Personal Edition
Professional Edition
Enterprise Host Edition - for hosting more than 4 users

The Personal Edition can be used for an unlimited time (i.e. it has no trial period limitations) in a non-commercial environment. It does have some limitations though:

Maximum of 1 defined Backup Profile
Limits on the amount of data that can be backed up
Ability to Host a maximum of one user
